Lorna Jane Athleticwear & Kettlebell Kickboxing Canada

When Kettlebell Kickboxing Canada launced in 2017 we were so excited to do some partnership work with Lorna Jane Canada, the company that likes to leave a small heart in everyleang they do!

As per normal at the photo shoot wearing this Incredible athletic wear, we review and I eventually teach the photograper how to do a proper swing!

TRADITIONAL KETTLEBELL SWING (STEP-BY-STEP)

1. Pick up a kettlebell by the handle.

2.Hinge by sitting back and bending at the hips, then the knees.

3. Swing the kettlebell back and behind your knees.

4. Thrust your hips forward, squeeze your glutes, and stand up straight. Do not backward bend at the top of the motion! Be certain to create a continuous fluid motion as you swing: with the kettlebell going behind the knees then up to shoulder level.

5. At the top of the swing, the kettlebell should go no taller than chest level. Do not raise the kettlebell with your arms. Your arms— as well as the kettlebell—should remain weightless through the entire motion. * Notice how everyones swing is slightly dwhetherferent, but the hinge remains a fixed!

How Auto Retailers Love Honda Acquire Control Of Data With Incentivized Ownership
featured image

As cars become more connected, there are growing opportunities for car brands to capture valuable data and leverage it to improve their operations. At the same time, consumers are increasingly seeking to control their personal information and derive tangible value from that which they choose to share.

Automotive brands are offering rewards to consumers for sharing information about their driving behavior and other personal data, fostering a mutually favourable exchange with incentivized ownership. From PSFK’s Automotive CX Debrief, here’s how four car retailers are optimizing the way they share and store data intelligence through transparency, blockchain software, reward strategies and more:

BMW x DOVU
Automotive brand BMW partnered with blockchain startup DOVU to launch a pilot program that rewards U.K. drivers with cryptocurrency for sharing their driving data. Drivers are immediateed by an app to take a photo of their sprintboards once a week. The data is added to DOVU’s blockchain, and drivers receive a DOV token in exchange. This allows BMW to have access to dependable, genuine-time vehicle usage data, which it can use to track the mileage and potential damage in order to more accurately assess the resale value of leased vehicles.

Honda Dream Drive: Passenger
Automotive brand Honda has created Dream Drive, a points-based rewards system that allows passengers to earn points for spending time in the car. Developed in partnership with application services company Joined Travel, the platform is accessible via IOS app and is designed to keep passengers entertained with games and other entertainment, while earning in-app points that can be redeemed for gwhethert cards at major retailers, such as Applebee’s and Gamestop. The app is part of the Dream Drive infotainment platform, which also lets drivers make in-car purchases for items like gas and parking, as well as making restaurant reservations, via the vehicle’s touch-screen display.

Kinto
Kinto, a Japanese car subscription service owned by Toyota, gamwhetheries driving behavior, awarding points to customers based on how they drive. Driving data is tracked via connected vehicle technology, allowing drivers to earn points for secure or ecological driving, which they can apply towards their monthly payments.

79% of customers are willing to share relevant information about themselves in exchange for contextualized interactions in which they’re instantly known and understood. Weights Won’t Create You Buky- They’ll Create You Lean & Strong!
featured image

So- Do we look bulky? Over trained? Disproportionate? Unnatural?

There are too many women that fear strength training, specwhetherically with tools like weights, kettlebells and body weight. The truth is that adding a balanced resistance training routine to your workouts can be the defining factor in your health, weight-loss and body composition.

Sandra did it with weights…
well, kettlebells 😉

When Sandra could not get the final 15 pounds off she did a lot of research. It crazye no sense… she was putting time into her running and cardio machines.

When she came to KB we placed kettlebells and body weight training like our animal calisthenics into her program. Then, to keep her from needing to add boring cardio, we added martial arts motion between the strength sets: Classic Kettlebell Kickboxing!

Sandra began to see and feel results nearly instantly.

Today Sandra lives in Kentucky and swears by her KB Scorcher Series Program, the original program that helped her gain the body awareness and body composition she always wanted.
As a member feel free to use code LIMITLESS to get a bonus 10% off the program, or any of our programs here>>>

Why You WON’T Acquire Bulky!

The term cardio is interchangeable with the term ‘aerobic’ exercise, while this form of exercise; jogging, fast walking, hiking, elliptical, spin or aerobics lesson burns calories while you workout, it has small effect of fat burning after the exercise is done. Strength training, or anaerobic exercise is traditionally the contrast, and has an incredible metabolic effect on the body after the session is total and for a potential 24-48 afterwards.

The ideal is to combine these two forms together. In a HIIT workout you are not lwhetherting heavy or specwhetheric enough to bulk up, or build large muscles. Remember muscle needs more energy to live! So we can look at building lean muscle as a way to get rid of fat (and keep it off). Another benefit of strength training is that muscle shapes and strengthens our bodies and creates the great looking firm figure we all long for. Again, unless you are lwhetherting at a specwhetheric weight and maxing out between 8-10 reps, you are not getting bulky- it is impossible!

Kettlebell Kickboxing workouts combine your Cardio and Strength training by using martial arts, kettlebells, body weight and animal calisthenics and HIIT training. Its an ‘all you need’.

Yet unlike phones, most dogs and cats can’t be carried around 24/7. Leading pet retailers are looking to change this, experimenting with contemporary products and services that enable pet owners to experience lwhethere alongside their furry friend.

From app-enabled dog houses to pet-friendly ridehailing service, here are four examples of how retailers are making everyday lwhethere easier for pet owners:

Tesla “Dog Mode”
Automotive brand Tesla has announced that its vehicles will now have a committed “dog mode” to keep pets cool and consolationable inside parked cars. When a driver leaves the vehicle and activates “dog mode,” the air conditioner is kept running, and a display will show the current cabin moodature of the car, along with a message letting passersby know that the pets are secure.

DogSpot
Brooklyn-based startup DogSpot has created tech-enabled dog houses that are designed to offer owners a secure place to lock up their dogs external of locations where dogs are not allowed, such as grocery stores. Using the DogSpot app, owners can locate and reserve a DogSpot, which they can unlock using the app or a membership card. It locks automatically once the dog is inside. The DogSpot features heat and air conditioning, auto-sanitizing UV lights and an a puppy cam that allows owners to monitor their pets remotely through the app.

Cat Sereneing Radio
Cat food brand Whiskas launched a radio station for cats that is designed to keep them calm during car rides, with the goal of making it less stressful for owners to take their cats to the vet. The station plays music that has been designed specwhetherically to have a calming effect on cats, with sounds such as chirping birds or purring.

SpotOn
SpotOn is a ride-hailing service in Unique York City that makes it easy for urban pet owners to find pet-friendly cabs. Using the SpotOn app, riders are matched with a driver who can accommodate their pet, and their rides arrives wilean the hour. Each car has pet-friendly amenities, such as water, lint rollers and treats, and is wiped down with anti-bacterial wipes between rides.

A workout for the stay at domestic mom.
featured image

This workout is for the moms out there. Maybe you’ve recently had a baby, and know you wont have time to go to the gym, but still wanted to make fitness a precedence in your lwhethere. Written for someone with limited equipment and space, this is the perfect workout plan to help keep muscle from wasting absent. Given how small time the average contemporary mom has, this plan is built around two workout days a week. Thoughtlly we would workout more frequently than that, but doing what works for you is far more important than being perfect. After all, doing someleang is better than doing noleang! Every of these exercises will work even whether you are not a mom! Anyone lost equipment and space who is contemporary to working out should give it a try.

workout one-Chest, back and abs

workout two-Legs, shoulders, and Arms

Chest– 3 sets of 15 reps

877

878

Dumbbell chest press-

Lay on the ground with weights in hand, push them above you, keeping hands in line with the nipples. Imagine that I am standing above you looking down, would I see that the weights in line with your neck, or stomach button? The weights should be in line with the nipples. Hold your palms facing forward, as though the dumbbells were connected by a bar. If you turn your palms toward each other, the bar would break! Once you’re in position, lower the dumbbells towards your body, then press them back up above you, all the while keeping your shoulder blades pinched. This will lwhethert your low back off of the floor, but that’s OK!

969

971

Shove Ups-

Acquire into a plank position, which means your arms are underneath your shoulders, your hands are positioned slightly wider than your chest, and you have a tight core and tight butt. Tighten your core by bringing your stomachbutton into your spine, and tighten your butt by imagining you’re pinching a quarter between your butt cheeks. Holding the tight core, tight butt body position, drop the chest towards the floor. Exhale as you press back up towards having straight arms. If that is too dwhetherficult, do them on your knees or with hands elevated on small bench or box.

974975 Shove Ups on Knees-

This is an easier variation of push ups. Same technique as above, but do not just drop the chest, let the butt go towards the floor too, all while keeping everyleang tight! Remember to keep your back straight.

Back- 3 sets of 15 reps

20150820_16053720150820_160542 Dumbbell row-

Hinge at the hips, keeping a straight back, with a slight bend at the knees. Hancienting your dumbbells with your palms facing each other, bring the dumbbells in front of your knees. If the dumbbells touch your knees, that means your torso is to upright, and you need to hinge a small farther forward at the hips. Hancienting that position, bend your arms and bring your weights towards your pockets, being careful to not flare your elbows out to the sides. Pinch your shoulder blades throughout the movement. You should feel this in your biceps and in your back. lower the weights back towards the starting position.

Legs
-5 sets of 10 sec hancients

1015 Wall sit-

Lean against a wall and walk your legs out in front of you. Your heels should be directly under your knees, feet in a straight line, like a pair of “ll’s” don’t let your knees knock in or out. Hancient this position for a length of time that is ccorridorenging for you. You should feel this in your legs near your knees, but stop instantly whether you actually feel this in your knees!

Shoulders– 3 sets of 15 reps

Arms-3X 15 reps

838837 Dumbbell curls-

Core Tight! Butt Tight! Ponder/ Consider about bringing your stomach button into your spine, and imagine you’re hancienting a quarter between your butt cheeks. I can’t stress this enough, every exercise you do should be done with proper form and posture. Standing with the weights at your side, curl them up, then back on down, being careful to keep your palms facing forward and making certain that you straighten out your arms in between reps all the way. You should not be swinging the weights.

1038 1036 Tricep kickbacks-

You can do this exercise standing, just hinge at the waist while keeping your back straight. Bend your arms, keeping your upper arms pinned at your sides. While keeping the upper arm s pinned, straighten out your arms. The only leang that should be moving during this exercise is your forearms. Do not let the weights swing. keep everyleang as controlled as possible

Core 5 sets of 10 moments minimum

985 984 Elevated plank

Acquire in a plank position, with hands on bench chair or edge of table (leank of a pushup position, but hands are elevated) keeping your core tight and your body straight. Be certain to flex your glutes. You should not be feeling this in your lower back, but your abdominal muscles. Hancient for time.

843 842 Straight Arm plank

This is a dwhetherficulter variation of plank-If the above exercise is a breeze, give this a shot! Do not collapse down on the floor when finished, place one knee on the ground.

I could write a wgap page on how to do each exercise, but many people would not read all of that. There is so much information that needs to be covered when working out, and while reading this article is a great start, make certain it is secure for you to be attempting this by speaking with your doctor. Uncertain how to get started? Does reading all the leangs you are supposed to do make you even more confused about how to do it right? If that’s the case, come in for a free session with me and we can work to teach you proper form and technique so you get the most out of your workouts and stay secure! Click the contact link and fill out the form there for a free session.
